Eight Australian startups have been chosen to pitch at Startup Battlefield Australia, taking place at Stripe Tour Sydney on August 19. These companies will compete for $15,000 in Stripe fee credits and a place in Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco.

The finalists include Aigentsphere, an independent AI management and governance platform for enterprises, and Apate.ai, which helps dismantle scam operations using live conversation intelligence. Callease Ai focuses on voice AI for physical security control rooms, while Choosey App uses agentic AI for instant hiring and same-day pay.

Other selected startups are Doomers AI, which helps AI and tech companies trend product launches on X, and equ, an AI engine for personalized nutrition. LeadStory provides video intelligence for screens, and Preve aims to improve patient retention and clinical outcomes for physical therapy clinics.

All eight startups will present their pitches to investors, press, and the Australian tech community.
