Ember has launched its latest temperature-controlled smart mug, the Mug 3, which introduces on-device temperature adjustment. Users can now cycle through five preset temperatures, from 125 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit, using a button on the mug's base, removing the need to use a smartphone app for basic temperature changes.
The Mug 3 also includes a sliding lid designed to help prevent spills and is the first Ember mug to be top-rack dishwasher-safe. It can keep a drink at its desired temperature for up to three hours on a single charge. The mug is available in 10-ounce and 14-ounce sizes, priced at $129 and $149 respectively.
Alongside the Mug 3, Ember has also introduced the Tumbler 2, a 16-ounce temperature-controlled tumbler with a slimmer design intended to fit standard car cup holders. The Tumbler 2 is available in black for $179. Both new products are available for purchase on Ember's website, Target, and Amazon.
