Encore AI, a startup focused on training and deploying AI voice agents, has successfully raised $30 million in a Series A funding round. Team8 led the investment, with participation from Planven, Lukatz, Garage, and several banks and insurers.
Founded in 2022 as Insait IO by CEO Dvir Ginzburg, the company's platform analyses conversations between employees and customers. It identifies successful approaches from call recordings, emails, text messages, and CRM data to train its AI agents.
According to Ginzburg, these AI agents leverage effective playbooks used by an organisation's employees, sometimes even replicating specific jokes or anecdotes. Encore AI states its agents can communicate directly with customers or assist employees by recommending responses during conversations.
The company currently serves over 40 enterprise customers globally, predominantly financial institutions. Encore AI intends to use the newly secured funds to expand its US sales operations and implement its platform with additional large financial institutions.
