Endava, a technology-driven business transformation group, has announced a significant collaboration with Wiz, a prominent cloud and AI security platform now integrated with Google Cloud. This partnership sees Endava, already a Google Cloud Premier Partner and Google Security Partner, join the Wiz Partner Alliance, a global network focused on enhancing cloud security for businesses. The alliance is designed to deliver a unified foundation for enterprise transformation by combining AI-enabled defence, multi-cloud security leadership, and agentic AI governance.
As UK enterprises increasingly navigate complex multi-cloud environments, the necessity for consistent security protocols across various cloud platforms, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ecosystems, and AI models has become paramount. Through this new partnership, Endava will equip businesses with the tools to build more robust and resilient cloud security frameworks leveraging Wiz's capabilities. This includes offering greater visibility across intricate multi-cloud estates, enabling organisations to confidently adopt AI-enabled workloads securely.
The urgency for enhanced security is underscored by recent Google Cloud findings, which indicate a drastic reduction in the time between an initial breach and the subsequent stage of a cyberattack – from eight hours to a mere 22 seconds. This rapid escalation highlights the expanding attack surface beyond traditional network perimeters. By partnering with Wiz, Endava aims to transition its customers from fragmented security checks to a continuous security model, allowing for earlier identification, prioritisation, and mitigation of risks throughout the entire AI lifecycle.
Endava's practical support will encompass a range of critical services for UK businesses. These include rapid cloud risk assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, managed detection and response services to assist teams in monitoring, triaging, and investigating crucial issues, and comprehensive advisory and implementation support to embed Wiz effectively into development pipelines and AI workflows. This proactive approach is designed to help teams identify and address security risks much earlier, long before they can impact production environments.
Matt Cloke, CTO at Endava, emphasised the growing pressure on organisations as agentic AI, or autonomous AI agents, gain access to data repositories, systems, and permissions across interconnected environments. He noted that this expanded reach necessitates a re-evaluation of data governance, identity controls, and consistent security policies across AI ecosystems. Nick Ross, VP of EMEA & LATAM Channels & Alliances at Wiz, added that security is a fundamental layer of the AI era, and the partnership will help more organisations translate cloud security visibility into tangible action across their daily multi-cloud operations.
