A man on a mission! Sean Carrington, the 36-year-old roofer from Wigan, Greater Manchester, has taken his love of the Three Lions to new heights – literally. The die-hard England fan unveiled a massive 'World Cup Winner 2026' tattoo on his leg, sending shockwaves through social media and leaving many wondering if he's got what it takes to keep his faith.
The impulsive decision was sparked by England's thrilling 2-1 win over DR Congo in the World Cup round of 32. Carrington, who's already inked nine tattoos, mostly family names, had been waiting for the right moment to commit to this bold statement. It finally arrived during a holiday in Tenerife, where friends egged him on, and he promised himself that if England progressed past the quarter-final stage, the tattoo would be a reality.
Carrington proudly showed off his new artwork at Holy Trinity Tattoo Studio in Standish, just before the quarter-final clash with Norway.
