England international Hannah Hampton has committed her future to Chelsea, signing a new two-year deal with the club. The goalkeeper's previous contract was set to expire this summer, making her renewal a key move for Chelsea.

Hampton, 25, joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in 2023 and has since established herself as a top goalkeeper, becoming the first choice for the Lionesses. She has secured five trophies during her tenure in west London and was a pivotal player in England's Euro 2025 triumph.

Last year, Hampton received the Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper at the Ballon d'Or awards. She joins fellow England internationals Lucy Bronze and Aggie Beever-Jones in signing new deals with Chelsea this summer.

Hampton expressed her happiness, stating, "Chelsea have always been my dream club to play for in England so to be able to extend for another two years is a proud moment." She added that she wants to continue her growth as a player and person, aiming to help Chelsea return to past successes.

Why this matters: Hampton's contract extension is vital for Chelsea's future plans, particularly after a transitional year for the club with several key players departing.
