Facebook launches standalone Creator Studio app with AI tools for creators

Facebook has officially rolled out a standalone Creator Studio app on iOS, featuring an AI creator assistant to provide personalised recommendations and new engagement tools for creators.

  • The new Creator Studio app includes an AI creator assistant offering personalised recommendations based on content style, performance, audience engagement, and goals.
  • The app features an AI-powered comment tool that highlights important comments and drafts replies in the creator's tone.
  • Creators can access a daily feed of priorities, including post performance review and tracking progress towards goals.

Facebook announced on Wednesday the official rollout of its standalone Creator Studio app for iOS. The AI-powered application aims to provide creators with personalised tips to expand their audiences and new tools to interact with their communities.

The app integrates Facebook’s AI creator assistant, which offers recommendations tailored to content style, performance, audience engagement, and creator goals. This feature is designed to provide quick answers to questions regarding optimal posting times and audience sentiment in comments.

Among the new features is an AI-powered comment tool that identifies key comments and drafts replies in the creator's own tone. Creators have the option to edit and approve these suggested replies before they are posted. Additionally, the app presents a daily feed of priorities, such as reviewing recent post performance and tracking goal progress.

The Creator Studio app is currently available for all creators on iOS in the United States and Canada.

Why this matters: Meta is looking to keep creators active on Facebook as it competes for their attention against rivals like TikTok and YouTube.
