Fambot, a new startup, has introduced an AI service designed to assist families with the logistical demands of raising children. The service, which the company calls an 'AI chief of staff', aims to help parents manage emails, calendars, school updates, and sports schedules.
Founded by former Instagram engineer Greg Karlin and ex-Uber product head David Reich, Fambot connects to users' email, calendar, and relevant WhatsApp groups. It then generates a daily checklist of tasks and provides a look ahead at upcoming calendar events.
The company states that its AI models do not train on user data. Fambot is currently available for free during its beta testing phase on iOS, Android, and web platforms. The team plans to integrate the service with more apps used for family and children's communications in the future.
