Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has returned ahead of the new Premier League season, which kicks off on Friday. Defending champions Arsenal are set to face Championship winners Coventry City in the opening fixture.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been priced at £15.5m, making him the most expensive FPL player of all time. He is owned by almost 75% of FPL managers and is expected to be the most popular captain choice most weeks.
Other premium options include Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m), who was the second-highest FPL points scorer last season. Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhaes (£8.0m) is also a top-priced defender, having achieved the third-most points for a defender in FPL history last season.
In the mid-tier forward options, Chelsea's Joao Pedro (£7.5m) is a popular pick, with over 50% ownership after scoring eight goals in seven pre-season appearances.
