Two key aides to Nigel Farage, James Orr and Dan Jukes, have stepped down from their positions pending the outcome of an investigation by Reform UK. This follows a Channel 4 News broadcast alleging breaches of political donation rules, a party spokesperson confirmed.

Orr, Reform UK's head of policy, and Jukes, a senior aide to Farage, are alleged to have breached donation rules by having polling paid for by an overseas company. Channel 4 News claimed Reform took funding from a US firm for three polls commissioned earlier this year, costing £32,500.

The purported donors were reportedly undercover reporters from investigative group Verbatim, posing as an American financier and his UK-based son. A spokesperson for Reform UK stated that the party believes the investigation should proceed independently and without prejudice, adding that no further comment would be made while it is ongoing.
