The father of a 17-year-old killed in a wrong-way crash on the A66 has been charged with assault and obstructing police.
Gye Worthy, 39, was arrested at Teesside Crematorium in Middlesbrough on Wednesday following a disturbance during his son Cole Worthy's funeral service.
Cleveland Police confirmed Mr Worthy has been charged with common assault and obstructing police. He is scheduled to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court in October.
Cole Worthy was one of five men who died when the Volkswagen Passat they were in collided with a marked armed police car on the A66 in South Bank on 22 August.
