Fidelity Asian Values Trust Highlights Three Asian Stocks

The Fidelity Asian Values trust, managed by Nitin Bajaj, has identified three Asian companies – Orion Corporation, ManpowerGroup Greater China, and JW Life Science – as examples of its investment approach.

  • Orion Corporation, a South Korean snacks business, reported a 40% year-on-year rise in its dividend in 2025.
  • ManpowerGroup Greater China, a recruitment firm, trades at a 2026 forward p/e of six times and offers a dividend yield of over 7%.
  • JW Life Science, South Korea's largest IV fluid producer, has a 45% market share and robust operating cash flows.

Fidelity Asian Values trust, managed by Nitin Bajaj, focuses on investing in mispriced small and medium-sized Asian companies. This strategy aims to identify future market leaders before they become widely recognised.

Among the companies highlighted is Orion Corporation, a South Korean snacks and confectionery business known for its Choco Pie brand. The company, which is debt-free, saw a 40% increase in its dividend in 2025 and is valued at a 12-month forward price-earnings (p/e) ratio of nine times.

ManpowerGroup Greater China, a recruitment and staffing firm, operates in a highly unorganised market in China. The company's stock trades at a 2026 forward p/e of six times and offers a dividend yield exceeding 7%, with approximately 95% of its market capitalisation held in net cash.

JW Life Science, the largest producer of intravenous (IV) fluids in South Korea, holds a 45% market share. The company benefits from stable demand for its essential products and an ageing demographic in South Korea, which supports its revenue growth prospects. It is valued at six times 2026 earnings.
