Indian fintech firm Navi has secured $100 million in funding from Prosus, representing the first institutional investment for the eight-year-old company. Founded by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, the investment values Navi at around $1.3 billion, according to sources familiar with the matter.
This funding follows Navi's previous attempt in 2024 to raise external capital at a valuation of approximately $2 billion. The investment is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Navi offers a range of financial services including digital payments, lending, insurance, and mutual funds. In the financial year ending March 2026, the company generated about $323.33 million, with a net loss of around $48.74 million. Navi's app is reportedly India's fourth-largest Unified Payments Interface (UPI) app.
