The inaugural production model of the Ferrari Luce, the marque's first electric vehicle, is set to be sold by RM Sotheby's during Monterey Car Week. The auction house has valued the electric Ferrari at more than £800,000.
This specific vehicle is chassis no.0, making it the very first production example. RM Sotheby's anticipates it will achieve a price significantly above the standard Ferrari Luce list price, which starts at just under £500,000.
The car features a bespoke 'Tailor Made' specification, including a unique Madreperla Semi-Gloss paint, white alloy wheels, and white brake calipers. Its minimalist design was overseen by Sir Jony Ive's design studio, LoveFrom.
Proceeds from the sale will be directed to the Ferrari Foundation, the company's charitable organisation, to support educational projects.
