Flai, a provider of AI software for car dealerships, has announced the closure of a $27 million Series A funding round. The investment was led by automation-focused firm Base10 Partners, with additional contributions from Friedkin Group, Findlay Automotive, Toyota’s venture arm, Y Combinator, and First Round Capital.
The company's revenue has increased 20-fold over the past year. Flai's AI software is currently used to manage phone calls, emails, and texts, and to schedule 50,000 sales and service appointments monthly. The software is implemented by more than 10 of the top 50 dealer groups in the country.
CEO Ari Polakof stated that Flai's growth is driven by customers who recognise the broader vision of its AI-powered customer relationship management software, which is tailored to individual dealer needs. The software can be operational in a dealership within 10 days of contract signing.
