Daniella is hosting her younger brother, Seamus, in her flat for a six-week period, during which he is using the living room as his bedroom. She purchased a sofabed for £400 for his stay.
Tensions have reportedly emerged between the siblings. Daniella stated that Seamus immediately began changing things in the flat, including adjusting the shower temperature and moving chopping boards. She also mentioned that Seamus took spare keys she was using, leading to her being locked out.
A point of contention is their differing bedtimes; Daniella prefers to go to bed around midnight, while Seamus initially wanted to sleep at 10:30pm, and on one occasion, at 9:55pm. Seamus, who previously lived with Daniella and contributed financially, stated he has adjusted his bedtime to around 11pm.
Daniella expressed that while she appreciates Seamus's help with chores, she feels she is giving up her space. Seamus believes that if someone is offered a guest stay, the terms should not be retracted. He also mentioned that he has cooked, bought food, done gardening, and put up shelves to be helpful.
