The trio's latest single, 'Remedied', is a high-octane pop track that Douglas says is about being unapologetic and having a good time with friends. Downer notes that a night out offers a chance to be fully oneself or to pretend to be someone else.
Quaresma highlights the camaraderie found in clubs, particularly among women, where negative aspects of being a girl are said to disappear. The album also features the upcoming single 'Cry Ugly', which recounts a lover's argument before a night out, and 'Leak It', marking a new era for the group.
FLO spent significant time in the US writing for the album, aiming to develop their songwriting and singing talents. Downer mentioned the mental preparation involved in advocating for themselves during recording sessions.
