A walk through the Teifi Marshes follows the former course of the railway line, passing the site of the old Cardigan railway station. The route includes a diversion along a boardwalk into broad reedbeds.
Along the trail, autumn fruits such as plump sloes are noted, while blackberries are almost over. Deciduous trees in the valley are beginning to display autumn colours.
Wildlife sightings include a weasel dashing across the path and dunlin exploring the edges of the tidal Afon Teifi as the water level falls. Ducks were also observed nearby.
