The global sports and celebrity agency, formerly known as Wasserman and more recently 'The.Team', is preparing for another rebrand. Staff were informed of the upcoming name change at an all-hands meeting yesterday.
This marks the second rebrand for the company this year, following its decision to drop the Wasserman name due to founder Casey Wasserman's ties to Ghislaine Maxwell. Emails between Casey Wasserman and the convicted sex-trafficker were released as part of the Epstein Files.
The agency, which counts Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and the Nations Championship rugby competition among its clients, has not yet chosen a new name. Sources indicate that the new branding is likely to be announced early next year. Private equity firm Providence Capital acquired Casey Wasserman's stake in the company in July.
