Tickets for the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua at Cardiff's Principality Stadium sold out in just one hour today. Approximately 80,000 tickets went on sale at 12:00 BST on Friday, with prices ranging from £88.50 to £13,128, including booking fees.
Minutes after tickets became available, over 500,000 people were in the online queue. Resale websites quickly listed tickets, with ringside VIP seats advertised for £73,645 and upper tier seats for £425.
The all-British contest will be broadcast globally on Netflix. While the event begins on 11 December, Fury and Joshua are not expected to fight until the early hours of 12 December, with ringwalks anticipated around 01:00 GMT. The stadium is expected to remain open until 03:30.
