The long-awaited heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been confirmed for 11 December at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. The details of the bout were announced by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and president of the Saudi Boxing Federation, under the tagline: “Years in the making. One night to settle it.”
This significant event in British boxing history will be streamed globally on Netflix, with no additional cost to viewers. Alalshikh’s The Ring will collaborate with promoter Dana White to bring the fight to audiences worldwide.
Both fighters, who have held multiple world titles, are scheduled to participate in a press conference on 30 September at British Airways Arc in London. Joshua holds a 30-4 win-loss record, while Fury's record stands at 36 wins, two losses, and a draw.
