Gail Boyle has been reappointed as a Member of the Treasure Valuation Committee by the Secretary of State. Her reappointment is for a term from 30 March 2023 until 29 March 2028.
Ms Boyle is the Senior Curator (Archaeology & World Cultures) for Bristol Culture and has over 35 years of experience as a museum archaeologist. She is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and was awarded the Fellowship of the Museums Association in 2018.
The reappointment was made in accordance with the Cabinet Office’s Governance Code on Public Appointments. Members of the Treasure Valuation Committee do not receive remuneration for their role.
