Google has unveiled its new Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which the company states is stronger and lighter than its predecessor. The design of the new foldable appears largely unchanged externally.
The device incorporates a new, stronger hinge and a Super Actua outer display offering 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Both the inner and outer displays are reportedly 20% brighter than the previous model.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a 4,750 mAh capacity battery, a reduction from last year's 5,015 mAh model. This change may contribute to the phone being 1mm thinner and approximately 20 grams lighter. It also supports 25W wireless charging.
An updated 48-megapixel sensor is included, designed to capture more detailed photos in various lighting conditions. Powered by the new G6 Tensor chip and an updated image processor, the phone can achieve 30x digital zoom.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available in Olive and Obsidian colours and will cost $1,899.
