Great Britain has qualified for the Davis Cup Final 8, securing a 3-0 victory over Ecuador in their qualifier. The decisive win came from doubles partners Henry Patten, the world No 1, and Neal Skupski, the US Open champion, who defeated Gonzalo Escobar and Diego Hidalgo 6-3, 6-4.
This marks Great Britain's return to the last eight of the Davis Cup for the first time since 2023. The team's success was also built on singles victories on Saturday by Arthur Fery, the British No 1, and Toby Samuel, the No 5.
The Davis Cup Final 8 is scheduled to be held in Bologna from 24 to 29 November.
