Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is attending the club's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium. This marks his first return to the stadium since his departure in May.
The match is City's first home game since an independent commission found them guilty of almost all of the 115 charges of breaching Premier League financial rules. City is appealing the verdict and continues to maintain its innocence.
Guardiola, who is now a global ambassador for the City Football Group, has publicly expressed his support for the club and its owners. A mosaic display in the Pep Guardiola stand is planned prior to kick-off.
The commission concluded that City used "sham" contracts to boost revenue by over £900m over a nine-year period. Potential punishments for the club could include expulsion from the Premier League or a points penalty.
