Hang Ten Systems, an AI startup established by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has expanded its seed funding by an additional $53 million. This new investment round, led by Temasek’s Xora, was closed five weeks after an initial $32 million seed round, bringing the total funding to $85 million.

Founded in May, Hang Ten Systems focuses on advising large companies, typically those with over $10 billion in annual revenue, on AI strategy and assisting with software development and modernization. The company states that its approach shifts the focus of software development from writing code to defining requirements and validating system performance.

The Palo Alto-headquartered startup has secured multiple seven-figure contracts with customers including Fresenius Kabi, Saudi Aramco, and Siemens Energy, spanning the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Hang Ten Systems plans to use the new capital to expand its engineering, consulting, and sales teams, with expected hires in Europe and India.
