HM Land Registry completed 2,134,898 applications in July 2026, according to data released today. This represents an increase compared to the 2,039,832 applications processed in June 2026 and 2,052,588 in July 2025.
Among the applications, 402,753 were for register updates, while 1,167,651 were requests for an official copy of a register. There were also 228,378 search and hold queries and 103,398 transactions for value.
Regionally, the South East recorded the highest number of applications, with 481,280 processed during July. HM Land Registry noted that this data reflects what it was able to process and may not fully represent market activity.
