Middlesex have reached their first List A final in 36 years after a two-wicket victory over Durham in the One-Day Cup semi-final at Radlett. Luke Hollman was instrumental, scoring an unbeaten 83 runs and taking three wickets.
Chasing 255 for victory, Middlesex were struggling at 145-7 after 30 overs. Hollman then combined with Tom Helm, who contributed 40 runs, in a 79-run partnership that shifted the momentum of the match.
Durham had posted 254-7, with Colin Ackermann scoring an unbeaten 71 and Will Rhodes adding 80. Ackermann also took three wickets, including opener Nathan Fernandes for 44, while Hollman's bowling figures included the dismissal of Rhodes.
Middlesex will now face Leicestershire in the final at Trent Bridge on Sunday, September 20. Leicestershire secured their spot by beating Notts Outlaws by 23 runs.
