Partners of women experiencing menopause are being invited to try a MenoVest at a support event in Hull next month. The device, brought by health group Over The Bloody Moon, allows individuals to experience a hot flush, a common symptom of menopause.
Sarah Weichardt, co-manager of the project, stated a particular interest in encouraging men to use the MenoVest to better understand what women experience. She explained that a hot flush can also be accompanied by panic and anxiety.
The Menopaus'ull Support Network event will take place at Princes Quay shopping centre on 17 October, from 10:30 until 14:30 BST. Another event is scheduled for Beverley on 10 October at the Toll Gavel Church.
