Iain Coucher has been reappointed as Chair of the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) for a second term. His new term commenced on 1 October 2026.
The appointment is set to continue until a new integrated water regulator is established, with a final end date of 30 June 2029. Ofwat will continue to operate with its current legal powers during this transition period.
