Index Ventures, a 30-year-old firm, announced on Friday that it has raised $2 billion in fresh capital across three funds. This new funding increases the firm's total available investing capital to $3.5 billion.
The capital includes $400 million allocated to a new seed-focused fund and $900 million for its venture fund. Index also added $700 million to a growth fund that was initially raised in 2024.
This latest fundraising follows a 2024 effort where Index raised $2.3 billion across two funds. The firm's recent performance includes an investment in Wiz, which was sold to Alphabet for $32 billion earlier this year, and an early investment in Figma, which went public last year.
