Six "industrial-sized" piles of waste have been illegally dumped at Button Oak, a popular beauty spot near Bewdley. The rubbish includes concrete, rubble, pipes, bricks, and clothes.

West Mercia Police confirmed officers are investigating the incident. Forestry England stated that the culprits appeared to have cut through a metal lock and turned a CCTV camera the wrong way before depositing the waste.

Richard Boles from Forestry England described the fly-tip as the worst he had "ever seen," calling it "horrendous." He expressed concern about the scale of the clean-up and the potential for hazardous materials among the dumped waste, particularly regarding wildlife in the Wyre Forest Nature Reserve.
