Jaguar showcased the production Type 01 in New York on Tuesday night. This marks the first new car from the brand available for sale in the UK since late 2024.
The Type 01 will have a starting price of £130,000 in the UK. Orders for the vehicle are anticipated to open in the coming months, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for next year.
The electric vehicle features three electric motors producing around 1,000bhp, allowing for a claimed 0-62mph acceleration in 3.2 seconds. Jaguar states the car has a range of up to 320 miles at sustained motorway speeds, and its 850-volt platform can add 200 miles of range in approximately 13 minutes using a 350kW charger.
