An immersive pop-up experience celebrating Jay-Z's career has opened in London's Trafalgar Square. The installation, which runs from Tuesday, September 1, until Saturday, September 5, is open daily between 11am and 7pm.
The Trafalgar Square event aims to transport fans back to 2001, the year of his album 'The Blueprint', and acknowledge his three decades in music. It features televisions from that era, screening music videos, performances, and period programming. Limited edition merchandise is also available.
This new installation follows the opening of a pop-up shop in Camden's UMusic Shop last week, which offered exclusive merchandise and nightly DJ sets. The Camden shop, located at The Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, is scheduled to close on Wednesday, September 2.
These events precede Jay-Z's 'JAŸ-Z 30' world tour dates in the UK, where he is set to headline Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 and 5.
