TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The 66-year-old shared the news in the final episodes of season five of Clarkson's Farm, a popular documentary series that showcases his life as a farmer.

Clarkson, who is best known for his outspoken nature as the former host of long-running motoring series Top Gear, revealed his diagnosis to co-stars Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper. He said he underwent a biopsy after a medical check-up and was told the cancer was aggressive, but had been caught at a 'really early' stage.

Clarkson is expected to undergo surgery within weeks and will be 'slightly out of action' during recovery. He later revealed that the cancer was in his prostate and that he had undergone a procedure to remove part of it. 'The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead,' he said. 'The 10 per cent where the cancer is.'

Clarkson's health update comes as prostate cancer continues to be a major concern for men in the UK. According to the NHS, prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men, with over 56,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Prostate cancer can be aggressive, but it is also one of the most treatable forms of cancer if caught early.

The NHS recommends that all men over 50 discuss their risk of prostate cancer with their GP, and that those with a family history of the disease should consider screening. While Clarkson's diagnosis is a personal and private matter, it serves as a reminder of the importance of men's health and the need for early detection.
