Honey Ross, the 28-year-old daughter of TV presenter Jonathan Ross, is learning Welsh using the Duolingo app, according to her boyfriend, YouTuber Gav Murphy. Murphy, 41, a Welsh content creator, stated that Ross practises speaking the language to their dog, Coco.
Murphy, who co-founded the YouTube gaming channel RKG in 2019, encourages Ross to speak Welsh with their dog to build her confidence. He noted that Ross, who lives in London, has an "incredible" memory, which assists her language learning.
Ross is also known as a writer, podcaster, model, and a feminist campaigner. She co-founded the Pink Protest movement in 2017, which campaigned for women's rights and secured UK government funding to address period poverty.
