Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade is set to join Juventus on a season-long loan, with the Italian side agreeing a £3.5m deal. The 24-year-old is now expected to travel to Turin for a medical.
The agreement, which does not include an option for a permanent transfer, comes after Juventus had been among several European clubs interested in the player. Woltemade was signed by Newcastle from Stuttgart in August 2025.
Despite setting up a goal in Newcastle's recent 2-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur, Woltemade has only started one of new manager Matthias Jaissle's first three games. Juventus had been seeking a forward after Jonathan David's loan move to Atletico Madrid and reportedly considered Joshua Zirkzee before opting for Woltemade, citing him as a better and cheaper fit.
