Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has returned to the club for treatment following a "muscle sprain" sustained during Germany's 1-1 draw with the Netherlands. Havertz was substituted in the 30th minute of the Nations League match in Amsterdam due to a hamstring issue.

The German FA confirmed that Havertz will leave Jurgen Klopp's squad early. Examinations late on Thursday evening revealed the muscle strain.

Arsenal's next fixture is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October, when they will host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.
