Kanye West has reached a legal settlement with his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, following her accusations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and wrongful termination.
Pisciotta initially filed a lawsuit against the rapper in June 2024, alleging sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination during her employment from 2021 to 2023. West's legal team denied these accusations, labelling them "baseless" and an attempt at "blackmail and extortion."
An updated lawsuit filed a year later included accusations of stalking, sexual battery, sex trafficking, and false imprisonment. Further updates to the filing alleged that West drugged and sexually assaulted Pisciotta at a recording session.
According to court documents obtained by USA Today, the settlement was reportedly reached on July 23. Details of the agreement have not been disclosed, and Pisciotta is now required to file a dismissal request within 45 days. Her attorney, Arick Fudali, stated, "The matter has been resolved."
