Former Today host Karl Stefanovic is set to buy out his business partner, Keshnee Ibrahim, from their podcast company, 123 Podcast. The New South Wales supreme court heard on Tuesday that the relationship between Stefanovic, 52, and Ibrahim, 36, has suffered an "irreconcilable breakdown".
Justice David Hammerschlag stated that the options were either to wind up the company or for Stefanovic to purchase Ibrahim's shares. Stefanovic's lawyer confirmed that the former TV host agreed to the buyout.
Both Stefanovic and Ibrahim hold 45% stakes in the podcast enterprise, which oversees The Karl Stefanovic Show. The podcast has been on hiatus since 24 August. A hearing is scheduled for 13 October to address the buyout.
