Chamber music duo KatzPascale, featuring saxophonist Sammi Katzmann and cellist/vocalist Jenna Pascale, released their debut EP 'Elegy' earlier this year. The project is notable for its creation process, where every song was performed and refined live for months before being recorded.
The duo recently embarked on their first UK tour, which included a show at London's St Pancras Old Church. During this tour, Fred Again.. attended a performance and subsequently invited KatzPascale to participate in the recording of his recent collaborative mixtape, '9 Months & 50 Hours', with Latin Mafia. This collaboration involved a 50-hour live-streamed creative process in Mexico City.
Katzmann and Pascale began making music together in 2024, having previously been frustrated with the New York indie rock scenes. Their sound, described as an eclectic and cinematic take on neo-classical, has been developed through live shows in intimate settings such as museums, churches, and galleries across New York.
