Kemi Badenoch, the Tory leader, is set to co-host a roundtable lunch with Anthony Gutman, chief executive of Goldman Sachs International, on 5 November. The event, which will be held at Goldman Sachs' City office, will gather founders, investors, and chief executives from across the UK.
The lunch is scheduled for one week after Labour Chancellor John Healey is due to deliver his Autumn Budget. An invitation from Gutman stated that the event would provide an opportunity for guests to engage with Badenoch on the UK's political and business environment.
The event is expected to offer Badenoch a platform to present her "vision for the future" following the Budget. This follows similar events hosted by Rachel Reeves during her time as Chancellor.
