Kirstie Allsopp airlifted to hospital after Devon beach fall

TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp was airlifted to hospital after injuring her leg in a fall on a Devon beach while celebrating her birthday.

TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp was airlifted to hospital after sustaining a leg injury during a fall on a Devon beach. The 55-year-old star of Location, Location, Location was celebrating her birthday with family when the incident occurred.

Allsopp stated she slipped on a muddy patch on a steep path while walking from Welcombe Mouth beach, near Bude. Her son ran for help, leading to the RNLI and Cornwall Air Ambulance transporting her to hospital.

She posted pictures from the hospital, showing scratches, tubes, and her leg in a cast. Allsopp confirmed her leg was operated on and she will be using a boot and crutches for a period. She expressed gratitude to the staff at Barnstaple hospital for their care.
