Newcastle United fought back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, maintaining Matthias Jaissle’s unbeaten start on Tyneside. Substitute Jacob Ramsey netted the equaliser in the 88th minute, snatching a point for the hosts.
Bournemouth had taken a commanding lead with Marcus Tavernier scoring his fourth goal in five games against Newcastle, followed by an own goal from Malick Thiaw. However, Harvey Barnes quickly halved the deficit before Ramsey's late strike.
Despite being unbeaten in nine Premier League matches against Newcastle, Bournemouth are still winless in three games this season. Four of the five goals they have conceded this season have come after the 80-minute mark.
