Latitude Festival 2026 has kicked off its 20th anniversary celebrations in style at Henham Park, Suffolk. With thousands of revellers descending on the venue since its gates opened on 23 July, this year's packed programme promises a weekend of unforgettable music, comedy, and literature. The main stage boasts an enviable line-up, headlined by Lewis Capaldi, Teddy Swins, and David Byrne – ensuring there's something for every musical taste.
Beyond the big names, attendees can enjoy performances from The Flaming Lips, The Last Dinner Party, Self Esteem, Tom Grennan, Wet Leg, and Alex James' Britpop Classical. Transgressive Records is also marking its 20th anniversary in style with a dedicated stage takeover featuring Mystery Jets, Mykki Blanco, Nadia Kadek, and sets from their resident DJs.
Forecasters are predicting mixed weather conditions for the weekend ahead. BBC Weather expects sunny intervals and gentle breezes on Friday (24 July), reaching highs of 25°C and lows of 13°C. Temperatures are set to peak at 27°C on Saturday (25 July) with lows dipping to 16°C, but light rain is expected to arrive by Sunday (26 July). The Met Office corroborates this outlook for the most part, predicting sunny intervals on Friday (24 July) and cloudy conditions changing to overcast skies by nightfall on Saturday.

Both forecaster's agree that it'll be a case of 'pack your sunhats – and brollies' this year. Festival Director Melvin Benn reflected on the festival's milestone anniversary, saying: '20 years feels like both a moment and a lifetime.' He highlighted Latitude's evolution from an ambitious idea into a cultural institution, with this year's line-up embodying its core values of 'fearless programming, artistic ambition, and that magical collision between discovery and legacy.'
