Welsh boxing sensation Lauren Price is set to defend her unified welterweight titles against Czech challenger Michaela Kotaskova. The highly anticipated bout will take place on Friday, 20 November, at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff.

Price, the former Olympic champion from Bargoed, will be fighting on home soil, with the event broadcast live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. This marks a return to the Cardiff venue where the 32-year-old southpaw successfully defended her IBF, WBA, and WBC belts last April against Stephanie Pineiro Aquino.

Kotaskova, 34, is the current WBF titleholder and has a professional record of 15 fights with only one defeat. She returns to her natural welterweight division, where she remains undefeated, aiming to claim Price's titles.

The undercard will feature Welsh featherweight Rhys Edwards facing Scotland's Lee McGregor for the WBA continental title. Cardiff's unbeaten middleweight Kyran Jones is also confirmed to fight Liverpool's Sean Arkwright.

Why this matters: This fight brings world-class boxing to a wide audience, offering a significant title defence for a prominent British boxer and a chance for fans to watch live and free-to-air.
