Leapmotor has launched its new B03X electric SUV in the UK, targeting the increasingly competitive small electric SUV market. The vehicle is priced at £26,995 and is designed to offer technology, space, and value.
The B03X is 4.27 metres long and features a 10-metre turning circle. Its interior includes a 14.6-inch touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital driver's display, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Power for the B03X comes from a 53kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing an official range of up to 237 miles. It supports DC rapid charging at up to 133kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30 to 80 per cent in 16 minutes. A heat pump is also included as standard.
Leapmotor's UK boss, Damien Dally, stated that the company is focusing on providing technology and equipment as standard, rather than as optional extras. The brand's partnership with Stellantis is also highlighted as a factor in its entry into the UK market.
