Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors are scheduled to meet on Saturday at Headingley in a match that is likely to determine the winner of the Super League Leaders' Shield. Both teams have accumulated 40 points from 25 Super League matches, with Leeds currently leading on points difference.

A victory for Leeds would effectively secure the title, as their points difference is 174 better than Wigan's. Leeds coach Brad Arthur stated his side is "up for the fight" against Wigan, who have won their last 13 Super League matches.

Leeds winger Maika Sivo, who has been out since 26 July with a broken arm, has been named in the 21-man squad. Wigan have included forward Junior Nsemba, who has been recovering from a hamstring injury since 5 July, with coach Matt Peet indicating he "will feature" in the game.
