England will face Greece in the second leg of their Women's World Cup qualifying play-off on Tuesday in Leicester, holding a 3-1 lead from the first leg. Despite the two-goal advantage, manager Sarina Wiegman has called for increased ruthlessness from her squad.

In the first leg played on Friday, the Lionesses had 74% possession and took 26 shots, but only converted three of these opportunities. Greece also managed to hit the bar in the first half and scored a goal in the second half.

Midfielder Keira Walsh acknowledged the team's hesitancy in front of goal as "frustrating" and stated that work is needed for the upcoming match. Wiegman highlighted the need for better decision-making in the final third, including the final pass, cross, and shot, as well as improved connections between players.

Arsenal midfielder Georgia Stanway is England's top scorer since Euro 2025 with 10 goals. However, other players like Lauren Hemp and Lauren James have struggled to find the net recently, with Hemp scoring twice in 687 minutes and James not scoring in her last 425 minutes.
