Littler beats Humphries to win Czech Darts Open on Euro Tour return

Luke Littler beat Luke Humphries 8-6 in the final of the Czech Darts Open in Prague, claiming his sixth European Tour title in just his 16th event and a £35,000 prize.

  • Littler defeated Humphries 8-6 in the final, having earlier beaten Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the semi-final.
  • It was Littler's first European Tour event since March and his sixth title in the competition.
  • Littler has secured his place in October's European Championship finals in Dortmund.

Luke Littler marked his return to the European Tour by winning the Czech Darts Open in Prague, beating Luke Humphries 8-6 in the final.

The 19-year-old world champion had not played a Euro event since the Belgian Darts Open in March as he manages his schedule, but he ended Humphries' unbeaten run in the tournament since 2023.

Littler earlier beat Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the semi-final, having whitewashed Danny Noppert 6-0 in the quarter-final and beaten Krzysztof Ratajski in the last 16.

The victory was Littler's sixth European Tour title in just his 16th event, earning him £35,000. He said: "It's what the fans deserved, obviously the two best going at it in a final once again. I'm glad I've won."

Humphries, chasing a third successive title in Prague, led 4-3 before Littler won four straight legs to take control.

Why this matters: Littler's win extends his dominance over Humphries and secures his place in the European Championship finals, a major title he has yet to win.
